You may want to create and protect more than one application if you:

  • Have development, staging, and production environments
  • Need separate applications per protected domain

You can add applications from Platform Settings > Applications > Overview. Each application you add to HUMAN has its own Application ID, settings, and more that you can also manage from the Console.

Prerequisites

  • Appropriate role permissions to add applications

Add an application

  1. Navigate to Platform Settings > Applications > Overview.
  2. Click + Add application.
  3. Complete the following fields:
    • Name: The name of your application and how it will appear in the HUMAN Console.
    • Application type: Choose whether this application is a production or staging application. HUMAN categorizes data based on the type of each application.
    • Policy: Select a policy to use with this application. HUMAN creates a default policy you can use, but you can also create your own if needed.
    • Description (optional): Provide a description about this application.
  4. Click Add application.

You’ve completed creating a new application, and it will now appear in your Applications Overview.

Applications Overview

The Applications Overview lists all your applications by name and Application ID. You can click on an application to open its Status & settings.
