Okta user provisioning integration with SCIM

If your organization uses Okta to manage your employees’ access to tools and services, you can take advantage of Okta’s “Provisioning” feature to automatically grant access to HUMAN to your users.

Features

The following provisioning features are supported by HUMAN:

  • Push Users - Users in Okta that are assigned to the HUMAN application in Okta are automatically added as members to your organization in HUMAN.
  • Update user attributes - Update first name and last name. Email modification is not supported.
  • Deactivate users - Users that were deactivated in Okta or were removed from HUMAN application are automatically deactivated in HUMAN.

Configuring User Provisioning

  1. Open HUMAN Portal, and open the user provisioning page.
  2. Define the default roles to assign for each new user:

Note

Be sure to assign a role other than "None" for each relevant product, otherwise the provisioning will fail.

3. In a new tab, login to the Okta Admin account.
4. Go to Applications > Applications.
5. In the PerimeterX application go to Provisioning tab > Integration and click Edit.

8. In the HUMAN tab, generate a new token and paste it in the Okta Admin in the API Token field.

10. Click Test API Credentials.
11. Click Save.
