Host Domain / Application View

Host Domain View

By default, the data in the portal is broken down by host domains, as Code Defender works optimally with this granularity. Meaning, in case an account includes multiple host domains, all data will be separate by host domain. This also means that incidents may be listed multiple times for each host domain they appeared on.

When adding one of these incidents to the allowlist or denylist, the user can choose to apply the action on the same incident across all host domains, using the Apply to all host domains checkbox.

Application view

If an application (app ID) includes more than one host domain, the Application view option can be enabled.

Once it is enabled, the data will be broken down by application in the portal, and the same incidents that appear on multiple host domains will be grouped into one. A new "Host Domains" column is added to the incidents table to indicate on which host domains the incident occurred.

When adding the grouped incident to the allowlist or denylist, or when moving it to under review, the operation will apply to all relevant host domains, i.e. will take effect on all the grouped incidents.
