Licensing Metrics

Bot Defender is licensed by Monthly Requests.
Monthly Requests is the count of requests that the web server handles, including:

  • Traffic originating from web, API and mobile
  • Traffic from users running JavaScript
  • Traffic from users not running JavaScript

Legitimate, Blocked, Custom Allowlist, and Custom Denylist traffic is counted towards usage. Custom Allowlist excludes requests originated from Allowed known bots and Allowed IP services.
