Managing account settings

You can manage your HUMAN account from Platform Settings > Account Management > Account. This shows a summary of your account and different settings you can update to best suit your organization's needs. You can learn about these settings in this article.

Prerequisites

You need certain role permissions to edit account settings. By default, this is an Application Owner or higher.

Account overview

The Account Overview section summarizes information about your HUMAN account, including:

  • The Account name
  • The Products included in the account
  • The number of Applications associated with the account
  • The number of Users on the account

Account settings

Account Settings shows current account settings and lets you update them if you have proper permissions. These are separated into Account details and Account brand & hierarchy settings.

Account details

The following settings are available:

  • Account name: Update the name of the account.
  • Description: Update the description of the account.
  • Slack channel: The name of the Slack channel where you can contact HUMAN, if available.

Account brand & hierarchy

The following settings are available:

  • Account logo: Update the logo used for the account. We recommend uploading a transparent PNG image with a dimension ratio of 100 x 35 pixels. Maximum size of 2 MBs.
  • Account hierachy: View associated parent or descendant accounts with the current account and navigate to other accounts as needed.
    • Parent account: The main account that manages all of its descendant accounts.
    • This account: The account you're currently viewing.
    • Descendant accounts: All descendant accounts associated with the parent account. Descendant accounts let you create separate accounts with different users, applications, and other settings while still being managed by the parent account. Contact us to enable descendant accounts for you.
