About the Creative Rules Dashboard

The Creative Rules page lets you manage how HUMAN handles policy checks and creative attributes for your platform. For each rule, you choose whether a triggered finding is ignored, reported, or blocked.

Reference steps 14-15 for a walkthrough of Creative Rules.

Search for rules

Use the search bar at the top of the page to find specific rules or parameters.

Rule categories

Rules are organized into expandable parent categories. Click the arrow icon next to a category to view and configure the individual rules inside it:

  • Brand and Category
  • Custom Blocklist
  • Image Quality
  • Landing page
  • Malvertising
  • Misleading
  • NSFW
  • Security
  • Sensitive
  • Standards

Configure rule actions

For each rule in a category, set the enforcement action in the table columns:

  • Ignore: HUMAN does not take action when this rule is triggered, and the finding does not change the creative status.
  • Report: HUMAN marks the creative as Flagged when this rule is triggered.
  • Block: HUMAN marks the creative as Failed when this rule is triggered.
  • Blocklist: You can add blocklists, such as specific advertiser domains (adomains), creative IDs (CRIDs), or publisher IDs. Creatives that match those attributes are marked Failed or Flagged for that rule.

After you change rule settings, click Save changes in the top right of the page to apply them. To cancel and revert to the previous settings, click Discard changes.
