MediaGuard Integration Phases
After you've selected a MediaGuard integration option, a HUMAN representative will guide you through the integration process. The standard MediaGuard integration process consists of five phases: (1) integration scoping, (2) single-region testing, (3) single-region scaling, (4) global scaling, and (5) integration validation. This guide provides an overview of what to expect during each phase of the MediaGuard integration process. During this process, we recommend dedicating a portion of your development resources towards MediaGuard's setup, since this helps us complete your integration as smoothly and quickly as possible.
You should not incorporate MediaGuard's IVT predictions into your bidding logic until you have completed all phases of the integration process and received the go-ahead from a HUMAN representative.
(1) Integration scoping
As the first phase of the MediaGuard integration process, we'll ask you to complete a questionnaire about the location and capacity of your data centers. A HUMAN representative will then review the results of this questionnaire and work with you to determine the scope of your integration.
After we've agreed upon the scope and terms of your integration, we'll initiate a kickoff call to ensure that both you and HUMAN are aligned on the integration phases and timeline. We'll also ask you to participate in regular briefings throughout the entire integration process.
(2) Single-region testing
Following the kickoff call, you’ll need to select an initial region for your integration. HUMAN will set up a cluster in your chosen region. You can use this initial cluster to verify your system's ability to send requests to MediaGuard and receive IVT predictions.
During this phase, we'll also ask you to select the tag parameters that you'd like to include in FraudSensor's detection tag.
(3) Single-region scaling
To ensure that you receive MediaGuard's predictions with minimal latency, we'll ask you to scale up the volume of your test traffic to match the expected traffic of that region. HUMAN will monitor your system latency and verify that MediaGuard's response time remains optimized at full traffic volume.
HUMAN will also provide you with a personalized detection tag.
(4) Global scaling
If you have more than one data center, HUMAN will deploy an additional MediaGuard cluster for each region where your data centers reside. After we've deployed these additional clusters, you can start sending regional traffic to those clusters. We'll verify that your MediaGuard integration remains healthy and stable at this global scale.
If you only have one data center, we can skip this integration phase, since there's no need to deploy additional clusters.
(5) Integration validation
As the final phase of the integration process, we'll ask you to send bid requests to MediaGuard at full traffic capacity for one week. Afterwards, HUMAN will spend a few days validating this data, then make any additional changes or suggest optimizations for your MediaGuard integration.
If everything works as intended, your MediaGuard integration is officially complete! You can now incorporate MediaGuard's IVT predictions into your bidding logic.
