# Syslog integration

Data export

Data export actions

The Syslog integration lets you send activity reports to your security or IT system. You can use the Syslog integration to create a [data export](/applications/create-a-data-export) or trigger them with a [mitigation](/applications/mitigation-actions) or [data export actions](/applications/data-export-actions).

> **Note**
>
> Syslog only supports sending [Logs](/applications/data-schema-logs) data.

## Prerequisites

* Appropriate [role permissions](/applications/role-permissions) to create and manage integrations

## Integrate with Syslog

1. Navigate to **Platform Settings > Integrations** and click the **Syslog** integration.
