# Email to Consumer

Mitigation actions

The Email to Consumer integration lets you connect your organization's email domain and send emails to your consumers when your Policy Rules are met. You can add the integration to an [email mitigation action](/applications/mitigation-actions#email-to-consumer) to trigger it.

## Prerequisites

* The ability to update DNS records for your email domain
* Appropriate [role permissions](/applications/role-permissions) to create and manage integrations

## Integrate with Email to Consumer

1. Navigate to **Platform Settings > Integrations** and click the **Email to Consumer** integration.
2. Click **Add Integration.**
3. Provide the **Sender Domain,** or the domain you want to send emails from. This is typically your organization's email domain.
4. Click **Generate DNS Records & Save**.
5. Install the provided DNS records with your provider, then check the **Verify you installed these DNS records** box.
6. Click **Verify Installation.** This verifies your DNS records were properly configured.
7. Click **Save changes.**
