# Client-Side Defense Pricing

**Client-Side Defense** is a client-side web application security solution that identifies high-risk PII, PCI, and vulnerability incidents. This is licensed differently depending on your package.

* **Core** or **Premium**: Monthly payment page views, or the number of monthly views of web pages included in the Client’s scope for PCI DSS 4 requirements 6.4.3 and/or 11.6.1 (for example, payment page/form, parent/embedding page, redirecting page)
* **Elite or Code Defender**: Monthly unique visitors (MUV), or the monthly unique visitors to Customer properties. MUV is determined by a HUMAN cookie set on each visitor's device. Be aware that, because some cookie management solutions do not mark the HUMAN cookie as essential, visitors who reject non-essential cookies will be counted for every visit rather than just one visit per month. We recommend adding the `__pxvid` cookie as a necessary cookie in your cookie management solution to circumvent this. Note that the cookie uses two underscores (`_`).
